How time flies! I am now in the final days of preparation for the priesthood, and am excited to let you know that I will be ordained a priest on Saturday, August 22 at St. Joseph’s Church in Biddeford, the parish church where I grew up, received my first Holy Communion and Confirmation, and learned to serve Mass.
It pains me to say that attendance at all public gatherings in the State of Maine is still currently restricted to 50 people. As such, attendance at the Mass of Ordination and Mass of Thanksgiving will be quite limited. I greatly value the important role that you have played in my life and my formation for the priesthood, and it saddens me that family, friends, and parishioners from Maine and beyond will be unable to be present for such an important day.
Some friends have kindly arranged for live-streams of both Masses, and those can be accessed “live” on Saturday, August 22 at 10:00am and Sunday, August 23 at 2:00pm at www.boucherordination.com.
Please keep me in your prayers in the coming days, and know of my prayers for you!
