Confirmation and First Eucharist are celebrated in the same Mass for children who reached the age of seven after a two year sacramental preparation program.
For teens and adults that have received baptism and first communion in the Catholic Church, but who have not been confirmed, a regional Confirmation Mass is held with the BIshop after preparation at the parish. Please contact the parish office to take part in an early spring series of three sessions.
By the sacrament of Confirmation, [the baptized] are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. Hence they are, as true witnesses of Christ, more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed."
